TazTaz, who's previous name was Prince, was rescued by the ladies of B & D Barn in the fall of 2002. Taz was starved, had worms, diarrhea, and could not eat hay. Nobody knew at the time whether he would make it or not. By December 2002 it was obvious that Taz wanted to stay around and he became the Christmas present of Jacob West. Jacob loves on Taz, grooms him, and rides him. Together they have lots of fun. When Taz is not with Jacob, he is the companion of a 32-year old Appaloosa. Taz is a gelding of approximately 19 years old and is of a mixed breed.
