Alen Sure Shot - head

Welcome...

It's so nice of you to visit me here, on my own webpage. I have so much to tell you all, I just don't know where to start! This is so exciting, I'm forgetting my manners...let me introduce myself:

My name is Alen Sure Shot but my friends call me 'Sport'. I am a tri-colored Tobiano (a mighty handsome fellow, if I might add), and 15.3 hands. I have been registered with the TWHBEA, the SSHBEA and the RHBAA. I don't concern myself too much with that...it's more something to keep my owners busy.

I was born on April 10, 1995 in Alabama. My owner at the time was Mr. Riley Fenn. When I was a yearling, he sold me to the late Tom DeBlasio and his wife, Sandy. They were so good to me...I remember Tom taking me on trail rides...that was fun! They sent me to Conkle's Walking Horse Farm for my training. They taught me to park out at one snap of the fingers, how to give myself a good workout so my body would stay in shape, how to be a perfect gentleman (I've been told that the ladies really like that!). Although, being a gentleman kinda comes natural to me. They even took me to some shows, where I picked up a few ribbons. Unfortunately, my buddy Tom passed away and his wife Sandy and I just had the hardest time picking up the pieces.

Now it's June 2003, and I have just been sold...I only had to move a few yards down the road, to the B & D Barn. It seems like a fun place. There are a lot of other buddies around...they don't have any girls though.

I've overheard my new owners talking about me; they seem pleased, and have apparently big plans for me. Soon I'll be trail riding again, oh boy! I'm gonna go back to the show ring...can't wait to strut my stuff! But most of all, they're putting me back in service...I get to meet all those pretty ladies that are out there. They're asking $300 for my stud service ($250 for grade mares), and personally, I don't think that's enough! Look at what all I'm passing on: A very laid back attitude, excellent conformation, natural gaits and the will to please. And then there's my pedigree...not too shabby if I may say so myself:

Go ahead, look for my daddy in the Tree of Champions!

I'll be having my own photo album here too, shortly. Hopefully I can add some of my offspring (old and new) to that. I need to talk to Sandy, my previous owner, about that. Shouldn't be too hard; she comes and visits me a few times per week.

Anyway, enough about me now. I'm standing at the B & D Barn, in Spring Hill, Florida. They're really nice ladies. One of them, Darby Garner, is my handler and I'll be spending a lot of time with her. Her and I get along real well. My owners, Dick and Nell Stanley from Stanley's Pride, live across the street. If my ears heard well, Dick and I will be doing a lot of riding...can't wait!

Now, if you want me to date one of your girls, all you have to do is talk with my owners or handler and set an appointment. Their numbers are:

Darby Garner: (727) 856-0367
Dick and Nell Stanley: (727) 856-9151

You probably have to leave a message since all of them spend most of their time outside with me and the other horses. But not to worry, they'll call you right back!

Or you could send Nell Stanley e-mail. She is my secretary and keeps my date book up to date. She also did all this typing...those keyboards are just too small for me.

Y'all come by and see me now, ya'hear!

Sport was re-introduced to the showring, after a five year absence, on November 20, 2003 at the Sunshine State Celebration. Needless to say he was overly excited...
