Pride of Midnight was a noted show horse and one of the leading sires of his time. Indeed the pride of Harlinsdale Farm, he produced a legacy of world champion offspring in every division including World Grand Champion Pride's Generator. The Pride offspring were renowned for being talented, easy to train, pretty, and "fast makers". In other words, they were ready to show quickly, most as two year olds.

Pride of Midnight H.F. didn't need the build up pads; he picked his feet up high naturally. Unfortunate for him, he was born ten years too late...

Pride didn't live to see four of his sons grab the World Grand Champion title; he passed away in 1979 after two colic attacks. His record for siring champions was only beaten by his great-grand sire Wilson's Allen, his sire Midnight Sun and his half-brother Ebony Masterpiece.
